Applications are invited from interested candidates for the position ofAssistant Accountant – AP at our BATS Office Lagos – Nigeria.
Requirements:
• Must have a minimum of Three – Five years' work experience in Treasury, Accounting, Audit or Financial Analysis Function.
• Must possess Degree / HND in Accounting, Economics and Business Administration. Graduate of other discipline with Audit experience may also apply.
• Must have strong Finance and Treasury analytical skills and also Technical skills in Accounting.
• Must have knowledge of and proficiency in Microsoft office programs, particularly on MS excel.
Key Task / Responsibilities:
• Preparation of VAT / WHT Returns.
• Ensuring proper Vendor setup process / preparation of monthly accruals.
• Preparation of statutory reports/review of petty cash returns & bank schedule
• Preparation and posting of month end journals.
• Review of invoices for proper authorization, coding and posting of vendor invoices to IFS. Other duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications:
• Must possess Degree / HND in Accounting, Economics and Business Administration.
- Graduate of other discipline with Audit experience may also apply.
