Job Title: Financial Controller

Location: Lagos
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Develop internal control policies, guidelines and procedures for activities such as budget administration, cash and credit management and accounting.
• Coordinate and direct the financial planning, budgeting, procurement or investment activities of all or part of an organization.
• Maintain current knowledge of organizational policies and procedures, federal and state policies and directives and current accounting standards.
• Prepare and file annual tax returns or prepare financial information so that outside accountants can complete tax returns.
• Advise management on short term and long term financial objectives, policies and actions.
• Prepare or direct preparation of financial statements, business activity reports, financial position forecasts, annual budgets or reports required by regulatory agencies.
Requirements:
• B.Sc/HND in Accounting.
• Professional qualification a must have.
• FCA with at least 10 years accounting experience, 5 years of which should be at management level in a large manufacturing company with hands-on experience on SAGE software.
• M.Sc/MBA is an added advantage.
• Must possess excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills with the ability to react effectively with variety of people at all levels.
• The candidate should not be more than 48 years.
