A global Oil Major is actively seeking a highly experienced procurement compliance manager to join their team in Abuja, Nigeria. The company have an extensive E&P portfolio in-country with strong growth projections over the next 5-10 years, and are looking to implement a procurement framework and vendor management processes. This role therefore would be a good move for an experienced procurement compliance specialist with relevant experience in contracts and procurement of oilfield equipment and services to join a world-leading firm in a senior position.

In this position you will develop, implement and ensure updates to the company procurement regulations in line with legal standards, and ensure the planning and reporting of procurement activity both internally and to other group companies. You will also implement and manage the Vendor Management System to identify and evaluate potential suppliers of oilfield equipment and services and work with both the Vendor Management Assistant Manager and Procurement Manager in preparation of documentation and management processes. This will include developing and maintaining the contractual standards and templates in conjunction with the legal department, managing the procurement planning and reporting activity and developing and applying performance monitoring activities and metrics to assess the delivery against strategic objectives.

It is expected that you will be educated to degree level with relevant experience in contracts and procurement for oilfield equipment and services, with experience in a major oil company operating in the E&P segment. It is also expected that you will have substantial management experience in procurement compliance with a strong knowledge of oilfield contracts and procurement methods including the associated methods, terminology, processes and procedures.
