The Client uses advanced cutting edge technologies in 'frontier' deepwater areas of over 1,000 metres.
A rapidly growing Operator company comprising of a range of large operated and non-operated deep and shallow water assets.
Purpose:
The BSWA Principal Technical Assurance Lead will report directly to the BSWA Technical Delivery Manager.
- He/She will be responsible for the co-ordination of the BSWA Project pre-FEED/FEED deliverables, and ensure that effective system wide integration and integrity is achieved in the deliveries.
- Responsible for implementation of project assurance including PCAP, OAP, DEM1/2 compliance, etc.
- Custodian of project codes and standards, DEM1/2 compliance, etc.
- Responsible for monitoring project performance 7 compliance to ensure that all approved DCAF requirements on the project are fulfilled.
- Responsible for periodic audit of pre-FEED/FEED delibrables progress & quality status and health checks.
- Responsible for the implementation of the BSWA and BN Projects Standardization / Replication strategy.
- Responsible for development of Project Management documents / deliverables as may to assigned to him/her.
Some Accountabilities:
Co-ordination of the BSWA Project pre-FEED/FEED deliverables, and ensure that effective system wide integration and integrity is achieved in the deliverables.
- General oversight on project assurance including PCAP, OAP, etc.
- Custodianship of project codes and standards and DEM1/2 compliance.
- Monitoring project performance to ensure that all approved DCAF requirements on the project are fulfilled.
- Be a proactive HSE leader and role model to the project staff and contract community.
- Support the embedding of Technical Assurance into FEED deliverables to drive no harm to people or the environment & Flawless Project Delivery (FPD).
- Conduct periodic audit of pre-FEED/FEED delibrables' progress & quality status and health checks.
- Drive Technical Assurance for FPD.
Education and Qualifications:
- The applicant should have a BSc in Engineering and at least 12 years of experience working in the area of offshore oil & gas development including 10 years of FPSO with subsea system related engineering experience in Technical Assurance management lead role.
- Strong combination of leadership skills, project delivery skills, experience of building and operating diverse relationships, organizing and managing systems integration and technical interface management functions, and understanding the commercial and business objectives and environment.
- Proven track record of having successfully delivered, or been a key contributor to the delivery of at least one large deepwater subsea project (>$500 million) from a Technical Assurance standpoint.
- Strong HSE commitment and demonstrated HSE leadership skills.
- Broad knowledge and experience of Project Management techniques, tools and practices.
- Solid background in all aspects of EP project execution including design, procurement, fabrication, installation, commissioning, and start-up.
