Captain Vincent Enyeama fondly called 'The Magnet' by his fans, says Nigeria's Super Eagles will have to look past their success at the Africa Cup of Nations and play the game against Kenya as if they were the underdog to win.
.
Despite Nigeria playing at home and having both a higher ranking and better head to head record than the Kenyans,Enyeama warns that the team must maintain the mentality that saw them to the Nations Cup title to solidify the sole ticket out of Group F.
.
Enyeama said " At Afcon we were given little or no chance and after our initial draw again Burkina Faso approached each game like underdogs and that's how we progressed because it took all the added pressure away from us"..
.
"We shall have a title to defend when we go back to the Nations Cup in two years' time. But now against Kenya, we are not the champions. We are simply a team standing in the way of their invitation to Brazil.'' he further added.
.
In South Africa the always humble Enyeama was in form and other than in the Final itself made at least one spectacular save in each game to see help seal the Eagles ultimate triumph in snaring their third Afcon title.
