SC Braga defender, Elderson Echiejile, has said that the Eagles are not taking anything for granted as they prepare to face the Harambee Stars of Kenya in Saturday's 2014 World Cup qualifier in Calabar.
.
The Eagles currently lead Group F with four points and the former Stade Rennes defender believes only a win on Saturday will consolidate their place at the top of the group.
.
"We still have three games to play and winning this game will further cement our place in the standings," he said.
.
"It's the dream of every player to play at the World Cup and I optimistic that the Kenyans won't stop us."
.
"It's an important game and we have to be very focused. It will be difficult but we will try to get the much needed win. I have played against them and I know how difficult they could be. But I know our players won't spare them when the game starts."
.
Echiejile also declared that he is looking forward to representing the country at the Confederations Cup in Rio in June and believes the Eagles would not be pushovers.
.
"I love representing my country and doing well for the team all the time is the most important thing to me."
