The Super Eagles have resolved to shut out the Harambee Stars of Kenya in Saturday's World Cup qualifier in Calabar by keeping a clean sheet.

Strongman in the Eagles defence, Godfrey Oboabana, said that in beating the Kenyans, they would also love to keep a clean sheet, adding that they would play the match to prove to the world that their Afcon victory was not a fluke.

According to the skipper of Nigerian Premier side, Sunshine Stars, the match will not be an easy one because the Kenyans would want to breach the Eagles unbeaten run this year.

"We would not underrate the Kenyans on Saturday because we want to be in Brazil 2014 World Cup. We shall first of all try to stop them from scoring against us and hope that the strikers would be very clinical to get the goals.

"As African champions all eyes would be on us to see if we could reproduce our Africa Cup of Nations performance. We'll try to live up to expectation by winning very well. It is a must-win match and we would go all to do just that," the Sunshine Stars defender stated.

Also speaking on the match, AFCON two-goal hero, Sunday Mba, said the Eagles are not under pressure to beat Kenya on Saturday, stressing that they would play their normal game and work hard to pick the maximum points.

He stated that he would try to score if the opportunity comes but added that it does not matter who scores as victory for the team was paramount now.
