We are currently representing a medium size Exploration and Production Organisation with a diverse and expanding asset portfolio across West Africa, who are seeking to identify an Oil and Gas professional for the role of Head of Operations Integrity.
This is a senior/executive position, offered on a permanent basis in Lagos, Nigeria.
The Head of Operations Integrity is charged with assessing and mitigating risks across the organisation. In collaboration with the Head of Operations specific effort will be made to ensure technical accuracy, quality and execution of all corporate hydrocarbon resources from exploration through to decommissioning.
Another dimension of the role will include effective management of social and environmental footprint, with the purpose of enabling an operations in line with regulations, internationally accepted best practices and a minimum regulatory interference/opposition from local communities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Engineering: Petroleum, Mechanical, Chemical or Geosciences
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in a broad range of positions in the Upstream Oil and Gas Industry
- Experience in managing Technical Teams – Drilling, projects, etc.
- Strong knowledge of HSE
- Familiar with Continuous improvement techniques as well as safety and risk management
