Post by: Folami David on Mar 23, 2013, 04:17 AM
Super Eagles, assistant coach Syllvanus Okpalla has declared that the country's opponents in this weekend's 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier in Calabar don't scare the African champions.
.
The visitors who arrived in Nigeria on Wednesday ahead of the Saturday's game will be hoping for an upset in the encounter.
.
"We are ready for them and whatever noise they make, I will confidently tell you that we are not scared," begins the former national team player.
.
"We have done a lot to prepare for the match and I don't see Kenya stopping us from winning the match.
.
We just have to be focused and make sure that we do our best to win on Saturday.
.
The Super Eagles who are camped at the newly renovated Transcorp Hotel in Calabar are expected to continue from where they stopped at the 201 African Cup of Nations.
.
Meanwhile, Okpalla has urged Nigerians to support the team right from the beginning of the match to the end.
.
Nigeria will go into the match with 4 points while Kenya only maintain one point on the Group F table.
