Super Eagles winger, Nnamdi Oduamadi, has expressed regrets over his inability to be part of the Super Eagles team that emerged as African champions at the South Africa 2013 Africa Cup of Nations tournament, but was quick to add that his focus now is to help the team defeat the Harambee Stars on Kenya and pick the three points at stake tomorrow in Calabar.
.
The Varese winger who is expected to play a part in tomorrow's encounter also refused to be bothered by the size of the big Kenyans, saying their physique would not get them any undue advantage in the encounter.
.
"They're quite big but that has never been a problem. We want to qualify for the next stage before our last game against Malawi at home and this is a big game for us," he began in a chat.
.
"Hopefully, we will get a win which will put us in a good position to go through early in the group. The next three games are big ones for us and we are looking forward to getting maximum points."
.
The player whose club are desperate to have back immediately after Saturday's game added that the three-time AFCON winners have resolved to sustain the momentum that saw them lift the title in South Africa last month.
.
"It was a great competition and big achievement for us but I missed it all due to injury concerns and I believe the team is stronger now. I am here to contribute my part and I hope to make that real by doing my best for the interest of Nigeria."
Well it proved to be a problem throughout the game, their height helped them in defense. Thank God for Oduamadi's goal
