Kenya skipper Dennis Oliech has said they will complete the "miracle" they started in Calabar when they host Nigeria in June.
.
The Harambee Stars recorded a heart-warming 1-1 draw on Saturday with the African champions having to salvage a result only with a last-gasp equaliser by substitute Nnamdi Oduamadi.
.
Nigeria are now on five points from three matches, while Kenya have two points. Malawi beat hosts Namibia 1-0 in the other game in this group to also have five points, but are behind the Super Eagles by virtue of the fact Nigeria have scored more goals
Before this game, Kenya have only managed two draws in 13 meetings with the Super Eagles beginning in 1968.
.
"I would want to say that this draw was a miracle for us and we would finish what we started here in Nairobi in June," said an elated Oliech after Saturday's showdown.
.
"We came here to prove a point and that we have done.
.
"It was a very difficult game for us knowing that we were playing African champions who paraded great stars from Europe."
.
Celtic star Victor Wanyama was even more forthcoming, saying Kenya were robbed of a famous victory.
.
"We were robbed. I am disappointed with the officiating. Added time was to be three minutes, but the referee allowed it roll into five minutes and that was when they equalised," blasted Wanyama.
.
"We deserved a win and so we are so disappointed we did not take all three points.
.
"But I am very confident that when they come to Nairobi,we are going to take three points.

Nigeria's defence need to be tight that day else this Kenyan team can deal with us in their country. They surprised me before so they might do it again
