Job Title: Logistics Officer
Location: Port Harcourt, Nigeria

Job Purpose: The candidate MUST have the expertise to meet technical and professional requirements in, Procurement and material supply services.
Key tasks and Responsibilities:
• Manage logistics operations, including, material and personnel for efficient operations
• Prepare reports on personnel and material movements and other operational logistics issues
• Prepare logistics plans, and budget requirements for new operations
• Transportation of personnel / materials to Oil & Gas facilities
• Onshore logistics; Car vehicle hiring & leasing, Haulaging services
• Identify logistical plan to manage existing logistics operations
• Loading and transportation of cargoes/materials to offshore locations
• Support the organisation in any general tasks or duties as may be assigned by the management
Academic Qualifications & Experience:
• HND or University degree in Business Administration, Engineering/Environmental Sciences or related fields, and experience in areas such as transport or logistic operations/management, and Haulage system is key to this role
• Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word
• Must understand Oil & Gas industry very well
• Must be energetic enough to market and convert relevant companies in the industry
.• Time management skills, ability to meet target within deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Good organisation and administrative skills
• Cost control skills
• Ability to work with own initiative, under minimum supervision.
