Job Title: Alliance Procurement Coordinator Projects (PCP)
Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Job: Interface with all sections within the Materials Management Group to ensure an excellent service is provided to the assigned project.
Department/Division/ Unit: MATERIALS GROUP / PROJECT PURCHASING
Location: Lagos – with possible visits to fabrication yards and onshore construction sites.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
• Functionally Reports To: Project Manager
• Administratively Reports To: Purchasing Manager Projects
• Supervises: N/a
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
• Internal: Departmental Project Engineers / Managers, Logistics Team, Materials Coordinators and Manager Materials Management.
• External: Equipment and Material suppliers, material supply and shipping contractors and fabrication and construction contractors
Job Duties/ Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:
1. Interface with Project Management Team to ensure current status of project materials is updates into the project plan.
2. Produce regular reports on material status for the Project Management Team as requested.
3. Liaise with Purchasing Team to ensure the project priorities are clear and resources are available.
4. Ensure correct engineering data is provided to purchasing to allow them to source materials and equipment required for the project.
5. Communicate daily with the purchasing and project teams to ensure priorities are set and met.
6. Prepare and update Procurement Status Reports for issue to purchasing and project teams.
7. Expedite activities from project and purchasing teams to ensure schedule is met.
8. Review procurement plan and work with purchasing Manager to ensure it meets project needs.
Key Performance Indicators/ Performance Goals:
• ROS date met – receipt date
• Project Procurement Schedule delivered and updated – report generation
• Transmit a clear definition of project requirements to purchasing team –documented communication
• Financial Dimensions: Nil
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Education
• Qualification: Degree in a Technical Discipline
• Professional Qualification: CIPS or APICS preferred
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in the Upstream Oil and Gas industry, with at least 3 years in a similar position.
• Age: 30+
KEY COMPETENCIES REQUIREMENTS:
Functional/ Technical:
• Knowledge and understanding of procurement and general specifications within the industry.
• Good Open Communicator
• Negotiation skills.
• Ability to communicate at all levels.
• Compile and present bid summaries.
• Proficient in MSWord/Excel.
