RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ensure the integrity of General ledger
• Implement procedures according to laid down Corporate financial policies
• Produce various relevant reports to assist Management in taking key decisions
• Ensure that costs are properly tracked and that OPEX and CAPEX are within approved budget(s)
• Prepare and implement budgets for the entire Company
• In charge of costing of Company's products, materials, and services
• Demonstrate cost cutting initiatives aimed at providing best solutions at minimal costs
• Develop and implement effective control framework and management systems to guide and support business operations
• Involve in procurement functions
• Plan and manage the material ordering process and ensure constant availability
• Ensure that monthly general ledger entries CAPEX and OPEX accruals and provisions are raised
• Prepare monthly management accounts
• Develop analytical tools to evaluate business proposals and identify best decisions
• Active involvement in day to day management of team
• Carry out other duties that may be assigned from time to time
KEY QUALIFICATIONS: – A good first degree in Accounting, Finance or other related fields with a minimum of second class honours degree (upper division), from a reputable University – Must be a Chartered Accountant – Minimum of 5 years relevant working experience in a middle management position of a reputable organisation
