Title: Ghana's Assifuah Wants AYC Golden Boot
Post by: Folami David on Mar 27, 2013, 06:10 PM

Ghana's history of producing strikers at youth level is well-known and the current goalking in the ongoing African Youth Championships wants his name carved in the fables.
.
Ghana's Ebenezer Assifuah has three goals in three games already, and with two games to end the tournament, the player smells glory.
.
Having won two Man-of-the-Match awards, Assifuah says he will be delighted to emerge goal king at the 2013 AYC.
.
"Before the tournament started, it was my objective to become goal king. Our target was to qualify for the World Cup and win the African Cup," the 19-year-old told MTNFootball.
.
The player has been fingered for profligacy despite scoring in all three of the Satellites' games in Group A against Egypt, Benin and hosts Algeria.
.
"Fortunately, I'm leading the chart and I pray to God that I win."
