Title: Pensioner Gets Entitlement After Intervention From ICPC

A pensioner Mr Ibrahim Ahmed Akinyemi, who retired from Nigeria Custom Service in 2006, petitioned the ICPC in June 2012 on "Non Payment of Pension, Short Payment on Gratuity/Monthly Pension by Customs, Immigration and Prisons Pension Service (CIPPO)".

After a thorough investigation by a team from the Commission, a total sum of N602, 918.89 was paid into the Eco Bank account of the petitioner.

The petitioner conveyed his gratitude to the ICPC via a letter with reference number Ref: COP/PEN/C.13915, dated 28th January 2012, where he confirmed the receipt of the payment and thanked the Commission for its intervention.
