Title: FIFA Change Kenya vs Nigeria Date
Post by: Folami David on Mar 28, 2013, 06:14 PM

The World football governing body, Fifa, has confirmed to Football Kenya Federation (FKF) when Kenya will play host to Nigeria in a World Cup qualifier.
.
The agreement was reached following an executive meeting held in Zurich and a shift of dates was necessary because Super Eagles will represent the continent at Fifa Confederations cup in June in Brazil.
.
"The return leg between Harambee Stars and Nigeria's Super Eagles will now be played on Wednesday 5th June 2013 at the MISC Kasarani Kick off 4pm."
.
"This new date has been communicated by FIFA World Cup Organising committee after a meeting held in Zurich last week," FKF confirmed.
.
Kenya are currently bottom of the group with two points, three behind Nigeria but FKF chairman Sam Nyaweya is confident Stars will secure maximum points from their three remaining matches.
.
"We are assuring Kenyans that we shall win our three next fixtures and get the nine points and eventually qualify for the Brazil 2014 World cup and we urge total support from all fans as we appeal them to turn out in large numbers for the two key matches."
.
The last time Kenya played Nigeria at Moi International Sports Center, Kasarani, the visitors won 3-2 and qualified for the 2010 World Cup.

I just believe we will win the second leg. Keshi would have learnt something from the 1st leg. The players will perform better
