Experienced Principal Materials and Corrosions Engineer is required by my client, a leading Operator in the Oil & Gas industry for an assignment in Nigeria. You will need to provide leadership and in-depth Materials and Corrosion expertise for the design, fabrication, installation and commissioning of the Topsides, Structural, Marine, offloading, Pipelines/Risers, Subsea facilities and Operational systems. You will have an in-depth knowledge and proven understanding of the interfaces in FPSO's. You will be required to assure the technical integrity of new offshore assets, provide visible leadership in the areas of HSSE and recommend and implement an effective corrosion prevention, inspection and production chemistry regime.
This will be for a 6/7 year project and Business class flights and accommodation will be paid for by the client on a 6 by 2 rotation.
