King's College London offers Nigerian Law scholarships. Scholarships are provided in the field of law. Scholarship is available for Nigerian resident students with an incredible opportunity to gain support to study Law at postgraduate level at the Dickson Poon School of Law. One scholarship of £25,000 will be available for 2013-14. The deadline for applications to the scholarship is Friday 28 June 2013.

Eligibility: Eligible students must: -be undertaking the 1 year LLM Law programme at King's, 2013 entry; -have accepted their offer of a place at King's by Friday 28 June 2013; -be able to demonstrate a need for financial assistance; -be ordinarily resident in Nigeria, and liable for the international rate of tuition fees at King's; -be intending to return to Nigeria on completion of  studies, to share the skills  gained whilst studying at King's; -be willing to provide an end of year report and a letter of thanks to the donor.

Scholarship Description: King's College London is delighted to announce the launch of the King's Nigerian Law Scholars Fund worth £25,000. This unique award will provide Nigerian resident students with an incredible opportunity to gain support to study Law at postgraduate level at The Dickson Poon School of Law. The scholarship will help towards the cost of tuition fees for the year, as well as living costs for the duration of the recipient's study. The Scholar will be selected on the basis of a personal statement as well as demonstrable financial need. Applicants must have a confirmed place to study on the one year LLM Law programme at King's College London.

Number of award(s): For 2013-14, one scholarship of £25,000 will be available.

Duration of award(s): Scholarship is offered  for the duration of the recipient's study.

How to Apply: -The application form (http://www.kcl.ac.uk/study/ug/funding/stufund/2013-14/guides/nlsf2013.pdf) should be completed, scanned and emailed to funding-at-kcl.ac.uk. Alternatively it may be posted to Student Funding Office. -You must submit a word/pdf version of your supporting statement. This should be emailed to funding-at-kcl.ac.uk.

Scholarship Application Deadline: The deadline for applications to the scholarship is Friday 28 June 2013.
