Striker Kike Sola scored a brace to help Osasuna overcome an early own goal to fight back for a 3-1 win at Valladolid on Sunday, breaking a three-game losing streak in the Spanish league.

The victory at Jose Zorilla Stadium lifted Osasuna seven points clear of the relegation zone with nine games to play.

Valladolid outplayed the visitors in the first half with Osasuna goalkeeper Andres Fernandez making two key saves after his defender Ruben Gonzalez had headed a cross into his own net in the 11th minute.

But the second half was all Osasuna's as Sola headed in a ball that goalkeeper Dani Hernandez had let escape his grasp in the 50th. Sola added a second header with his back to the net in the 60th, before Miguel de las Cuevas hit on the break nine minutes later.
The win was the best that could happen to them this weekend. Sola did the magic for them. Very good result for the fans
