Lone Stars of Liberia captain, Anthony Laffour, has tipped the Super Eagles of Nigeria as one of the five countries that will qualify to represent Africa at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
.
Laffour insisted that the African Champions despite labouring to a one-all draw scoreline in their last fixture at home to the Harambee Stars of Kenya, are still among the favourites to make it to the finals.
.
The Mamelodi Sundown of South Africa star opined that the new look Super Eagles team have a way of turning things around as they defeated the Lone Stars 6-1 in the final round of qualifying for the AFCON tournament in Calabar.
.
"Of course no one can stop Nigeria from making it to Brazil , the Kenyans are just trying to be stubborn as they are only trying to make a name for themselves.
.
"The new look Super Eagles team have a way of turning around things and that how it was done against Liberia in Calabar where we were defeated 6-1. So I am sure they will come up with a commending performance when the teams meet again in June.
.
"They were superb, had a stronger fighting spirit and pace. And after their triumph in South Africa, I told myself that this team will go far in any competition if there is continuity" he concluded
If they don't work hard for the ticket, they might not get it. They wlll need to their next games by all means
