Former Super Eagles assistant coach Fatai Amoo has advised Godfrey Oboabona to seize the opportunity of playing for English Premier League side Arsenal with both hands.
.
The Sunshine Stars defender was one of Nigeria's best players at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa where he played in every minute of Eagles' march to glory.
.
Amoo says the club of former Eagles captain Nwankwo Kanu is a 'big club', saying the centre back should attend the trial offered by the Gunners.
.
"Arsenal is a big club and it will be in the interest of Godfrey (Oboabona) to accept their offer for a trial in London."
.
"It's not an insult on the Nigerian senior national team because Godfrey himself has never played club football in Europe. He may have done well at the Africa Cup of Nations but he is still a young player who has never even played in Eastern Europe not to talk of Western Europe. It's not an insult on him or the Super Eagles at all."
Well I do believe its his decision to make. No one has the right to tell him what to do. Let Oboabona do what seems right to him
