Job Details: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and committed mining engineer to work for a leading international mining company within their operations in Nigeria.
The successful candidate will be responsible for open pit mining sites in south west Nigeria.
Responsibilities:
• Provide technical and commercial support to mining and quarrying operations within this region.
• Set production and performance targets.
• Develop strong relationships with all clients and stakeholders.
• Provide annual budget forecast and on-going budget control.
Requirements:
• Must have a mining engineering degree or similar.
• 15 years' experience in open pit mining.
• 10 years management experience within this sector.
• Experience managing multination workforces.
• Good understanding of drill blast practices.
• Excellent communication skills
Package:
• $160,000- $190,000 (TAX FREE)
• In country costs provide.
• 8×3 FIFO
