CrystalBlend Group are currently seeking an experienced Process Technician to join a large national business in Nigeria. Your main responsibilities will be to ensure the smooth operation of plant and equipment to recycle scrap aluminium into sheets. Main activities include working with overhead cranes and scrap metal.
Assembling and weighing scrap mixes for charges; charging scrap to furnaces; metal sampling, analysis and compositional control; furnace cleaning; molten metal transfer; molten metal casting; ingot movement/ identification; quality checks.
Unloading scrap from vehicles; scrap quality checks; assembling scrap mixes; feeding the shredder; molten metal sampling, analysis and compositional control; furnace cleaning; molten metal transfer; molten metal casting; ingot movement/identification; quality checks; ingot despatch.
You must have had previous waste management experience and posess a hardworking and forward thinking attitude.
Training will be ongoing and all technicians will undergo a minimum of one week's induction prior to commencement of shop floor duties.
