Our client is a Global Engineering Company that provides engineering, procurement, construction, operation and management services for large-scale projects at a global level.

Reports To: Project Manager (Site Manager)/ Project Control Director
Role Summary: To ensure for the assigned project effective planning and control activities about time and costs.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborates with the Proposal Manager (transfer meeting), Project Manager, Procurement Coordinator, Construction Manager and Project Engineering Manager, to the definition of the Project Execution Plan and ensure its application throughout the entire project life-cycle to reach the established targets
• Creates and maintains, with the cooperation and coordinating the Project Control Engineers, the appropriate project control procedures, guidelines, standards and IT tools for the project
• Monitors and forecasts progress of activities in schedules by assessing or measuring physical progress in engineering and field construction, highlighting problem areas, recommending remedial actions and monitoring the execution of the agreed ones
• Coordinates the project WBS and schedules definition and implementation, involving the Project Man-ager, Project Engineering Manager, Construction Manager and Project Leaders and guaranteeing the overall consistency and the feasibility;
• Prepares short-term look ahead schedules and expenditure forecasts (on a monthly basis) and lead the update in routine progress meetings
• liaises with all team leaders to communicate required completion dates and interfaces between responsible parties
• Supports the PM in the evaluation of economical risks
• Control the scope changes, design modifications and variances in order to minimize impacts on project cost and schedule, suggesting remedial actions and preparing Changes towards the Client
• Provides feedback to the Project Control Director concerning problems arising from application of standard methods and work instructions to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the department
• Ensures the professional growth of the assigned Cost and Planning Engineers as per department and Company needs and exchange experience with other colleagues (PCC) in the company Group
• Ensures liaison between Site Project Control and Project Control team in the Home Office.

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical/ electronic or Mechanical Engineering
Experience: 4 years working experience in construction or any related field. Project Management certification would be an added advantage.
