.
According to the Daily Star, both Anfield manager Brendan Rodgers and his counterpart at White Hart Lane, Andre Villas-Boas, have been tracking Moses Daddy-Ajala.
.
The report claims the 17-year-old winger has been watched closely as he makes progress in a famed youth academy in Jos, Nigeria.
.
Liverpool and Tottenham scouts have obviously been impressed with what they have seen from Daddy- Ajala and the report claims he is being compared to Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo in his homeland.
.
He is yet to play for the Super Eagles and is currently still contracted to the GBS Academy but reports in Nigeria have suggested he is on his way to the UK.
.
One problem for both the Reds and Spurs is the lack of international football and his age, but the Star claim Daddy-Ajala is expected to qualify under the special talent rule.
.
He is tipped to follow in the footsteps of Victor Moses at Chelsea and become the next Nigerian winger to make it big in the Premier League.
.
Liverpool have already shown they are ready to give young players a chance with the blooding of 17 year-old Raheem Sterling earlier in the season before fatigue set in.
