An earthquake struck the eastern part of Indonesia measuring a 7.1 magnitude, the U.S. Geological Survey reported (http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/eventpage/usb000g13s#summary)Saturday. The quake shocked 159 miles along Enarotali in Irian Jaya, according to Reuters (http://www.reuters.com/article/2013/04/06/us-indonesia-quake-idUSBRE93501W20130406).
USGS also reported the earthquake ran 36 miles deep. No tsunami warning has been issued.
