Job Description:
1. Provide Rotating Equipment engineering support to the Project management team (PMT) in order to meet goals and targets
2. Provide Rotating Equipment engineering support to the EPC Contractors
3. Provision of Rotating Equipment input into detailed design of new facilities with special emphasis on ALARP concept, safe operations, uptime/availability, and local experience
4. Participate in and carry out close-out of recommendations from HEMP, Joint Venture, and Regulatory Bodies' reviews.
5. Coaching and supervision of young Rotating Equipment engineers attached to the Project+ team.
6. Facilitate/secure all approvals for all design changes related to Rotating Equipment engineering
7. Ensure up-to-date Rotating Equipment documentations and drawings for the project.
8. Provide Rotating Equipment engineering input into the integrated facilities design, fabrication, installation, and commissioning.
9. Supervise the overhaul of the main rotating equipment such as turbines, centrifugal compressors and centrifugal pumps
10. Pre-pare and supervise the (pre-) commissioning of the rotating equipment.
Job Requirements:
1. University degree in Mechanical engineering
2. 10+ years relevant experience in Rotating Equipment engineering design within the oil and gas industry; this shall include, Rotating Equipment design, Rotating Equipment controls and safeguarding
3. Experience in commissioning major rotating equipment.
