Flying Eagles assistant coach, Alloy Agu has revealed that the coaching crew are in the hunt for new goalkeepers to beef up the team ahead of the U-20 World Cup in Turkey in June.

The Eagles failed to defend their African title at the just concluded Africa Youth Championship in Algeria, coming third behind Egypt and Ghana.

Two of the three goalkeepers that went with the team to Algeria got injured, leaving only one to compete in the team's five games.

The team is expected to regroup this month to begin preparations for the World and Agu, himself a former international goalkeeper, has said plans are underway to look for quality goalkeepers that will help improve the team.

''It's important now that we look for more goalkeepers that can help improve the team. What happened to us in Algeria has taught us a lesson and we will not want to go through that again.

''There are a lot of quality goalkeepers in the country and we hope to get one or two to beef up the squad,''he said.
Well that is a very good move i must say. It makes sense if they continue doing that. They need better talented players
