ArcSight seeks to hire a Managing Principal for our EMEA Professional Services Practice. A seasoned and accomplished individual located in the UK to assist in building the company's services team delivering to ArcSight customers across the region. Working directly with the Global Professional Services Director/VP, this role is responsible for growing revenue for the practice area through new opportunities and the expansion of services for current customers. The Managing Principal assists the Sales teams in developing and closing on new professional services/consulting opportunities, manages customer engagements, manages delivery consultants, and defines and grows new and existing product offerings. An integral part of this role will be to grow the consulting team. Success in this role is measured in terms of bookings growth, quarterly/annual revenue attainment, team chargeability and via management objectives established by Global Services Leadership and the leadership of the Enterprise Security Practice (ESP).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Practice Development: ensure team chargeability/utilization targets and financial goals are met.
• Business Development: support the sales efforts by briefing key customer managers, present Practice services, develop customer proposals, finalize statement of work (SoW), and ensure buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the customer.
• Customer Management: manage the day-to-day interactions with customer management.
• Partner Development: mature and help grow relationships and channel delivery capability with local SIs/Delivery partners.
• People Development: perform role of manager and coach for consultants.
• Engagement Management: manage engagement risk and define deliverable content
REQUIREMENTS:
• Typically degree qualification (or equivalent experience) and 5+ years working within the information security field, with emphasis on security operations, incident management, intrusion detection, firewall deployment, and security event analysis
• 5+ years of management experience including P&L responsibility
• 2+ years sales and/or marketing experience
• Great customer service skills
• Executive-level technical writing skills
• Executive-level oral communication skills
Desirable:
• 2+ years consulting management experience
• Professional certification to include PMP, CISSP, SANS GCIA.
• Working knowledge of SIEM technology, with ArcSight specific certification.
