London - An African stowaway who died after falling from the undercarriage of a passenger jet near Heathrow Airport has been identified but his family may never learn about his death, it emerged on Thursday.
Police named the man as Jose Matada, 30, from Mozambique, who fell 2 500ft in September last year. Efforts to trace his family have been unsuccessful.
Mr Matada was found dead in a residential street in East Sheen, west London, after falling from a British Airways flight from Angola's capital, Luanda. - The Independent
