Job Summary: The MCC Manager assumes overall responsibility for the running of MCC. The MCC Manager will devise processes to ensure all functions of MCC are correctly performed and will ensure they are adhered to. The position will be the focal point for managerial and none operational queries during the working week
Job Description:
The MCC Manager will assume overall responsibility for the performance of the MCC and the MCC team. The Manager will devise processes and systems to ensure all functions of MCC are correctly performed and adhered to. Those functions will be detailed in the MCM Manual but in brief;
• To provide technical AOG support to In Service Aircraft, Using Manuals and Experience to assist the Flight deck in finding solutions and coordinating the recovery process as required minimizing delays.
• Coordinate with OCC to ensure Operations are kept informed of all Technical situations and time scales.
• Coordinate with the Part 145 to ensure prompt troubleshooting and spares ordering is carried out
• Coordinate with the Part 145 and the CAMO for planned maintenance ensuring all required resources are available
• MCC will track all Deferred defects, working to clear the defect before the time limit expires and also to keep the number of Deferred defects to a minimum
• Maintenance planning will be directed to MCC where the tasks will be promulgated to the Line engineers after consultation with the Part 145 to ensure Daily Weekly and OOP maintenance is performed on time.
• MCC will also ensure the CAMMOE will have all required operational data and Technical reports
• Work with the CAMO on repetitive defects
• MCC will write a daily Technical report and update all Maintenance systems
• MCC will review all tech log pages
• Chair a daily meeting to review previous day and coordinate the current days Maintenance
• Coordinate with OCC Operational issues
• Drive maximum aircraft availability in a safe efficient and cost effective manner.
• Mentor and train where necessary Maintrol Staff and constantly seeking to improve staff performance
• Focus on ETOPS operations and ETOPS standards though out the Arik network where applicable.
Required skill set & Qualification:
• Must have 10 years minimum experience of Line/Base Maintenance at least 3 years on type, Licensed on Airbus 330/340, with experience of any of the following would help; Boeing 737 classic/ng, CRJ , Dash 8 and HB125-800 preferable with base operations
• Good Leadership skills
• Good Knowledge of Technical support functions , MEL and maintenance planning systems
• Good It Skills and a Knowledge of current MRO IT Systems
• Good communication skills and Strong organizational Skills
