Job Title: Group Head – Enterprise Risk Management
Organisation: A Key Financial Services Group in Nigeria
Job Description:
-Plan, design and implement an effective risk m,anagement framework for the Group.
-Risk assessment, including the quantification of risk indices by department and by subsidiary , in terms of impact and likelihood.
-Continually monitor the group's actual risk profile against its risk apetite,in accordance with the Board guidelines.
-Ensure that the group's corporate governance framework is effective and is always in-step with international developments and best practice.
-Ensure that regulatory compliance issues have been properly and completely identified and the group's compliance is robust and always pro-active.
Desired Skills & Experience:
-Must have a degree in any of the following; Economics, Insurance, Actuarial Science, Accounting,Finance or any related field as well as Master degree in Risk Management, Economics or Finance.
-Not less than 12 years consolidated post-graduation work experience in the financial services sector , preferably the insurance sub-sector is required.Must have good knowledge of business strategy as well as the ability to exercise judgement, initiative and discretion at all times.
-Must be an experienced executive who is able to creatively deploy innovative solutions to meet changing situations.
-Should be a professional member of the Institute of Risk Management of London or other relevant risk management professional bodies.
