Title: 2011 Washington College Fellowships in Early American History

(http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2618253/ForumPhotos/Boston%20Athenaeum_tapestry_logo.png) The Washington College Fellowship in Early American History supports research into the library of George Washington or a germane area and offers a stipend of $1,500 for a residency of twenty days and includes a year's membership to the Boston Athenæum.

ELIGIBILITY

Applicants must be U.S. citizens or foreign nationals holding the appropriate U.S. government documents.

HOW TO APPLY

Applicants must submit a curriculum vitae and letter of intent describing the proposed project and citing specific materials from the Boston Athenæum's collections. Graduate students must also include a letter of recommendation from their faculty advisor.

Applications are due by April 15 of every year.
