Job Description:
• Coordinate and manage the Apprentice training program of the UCDI
• Help administrate the UCDI Training School
• Work as a Mechanical Inspector in the UCDI Training School
• Work as general instructor in the UCDI Training School (none-technical personal development training and safety)
• Be personal tutor to one generation of apprentices at a time
• Implement and enforce the integral Unicem policies and a stakeholder mentality to the apprentices
• Teach and implement ISO 14001, 9001, 18000 (if required), teach environmental objectives and goals, quality control, house-keeping, health, safety and hygiene to the apprentices
Desired Skills & Experience
QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor of Science/ Higher National Diploma in Mechanical / Metallurgical Engineering.
• Practical experience in Mechanical Maintenance, Tool Machine handling, Parts Manufacture and Fitting. Experienced Lecturer on the above is preferred.
• Knowledge/hand on experience of condition monitoring function will be added advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years in Mechanical, Fitting and Machine Tool.
