Job Purpose/Scope: To lead the electrcal Services and utilities at GSK Manufacturing Site in Agbara. Responsible for implementation of maintenance on all production facilities and driving improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. To support the Sites Engineers and Managers in implementing the Electrical Engineering Maintenance Standards.
2. Carryout L1/L2 Electrical Audits accrosssite and close all CAPA's
3. Develop and implement electrical energy reduction strategies across site and maintain adequate illumination level for operations
4. Develop and implement the agreed structured training program for new and old Electrical Engineers to ensure the Capability Development Plan in Engineering Department is achieved.
5. To review and Sign off all new Electrical design/Projects before the Installation and commissioning of the projects.
6.Support prject Teams during design, implementation, commissioning and validation phases
7. Support Energy Effficiency improvement Initiatives and Share best practices
8. Responsible for Operation and maintenance of Utilities Plants (Boilers,Water Treatment Plant, Copressed Air Plant, Generators, Forklift Plants, Chilers, LV & HV Electrical Plants).
Qualifications, Experience:
1. 5-8 years experience in Food Beverage /Pharmaceutical industry
2. Customer focus and understanding the importance of delivering services safely and to cost schedule and quality committment
3. Knowledge of GMP requirements and EHS practices
4. Ability to communicate at all levels within the organisation
Competencies:
1. Leadership Skills
2. Good communication and influencing skills
3. Working knowledge of Microsoft office package
4. Working knowledge of Engineering Standards and Statutory requirements for Plant Machinery and workplaces applicable to a large volume of consumer products factory.
