This is an opportunity to be part of the new EMEA Product team and influencing Dell´s product and pricing strategy of commercial clients. This position works closely with key very senior figures and teams in finance and marketing, sales and supply and demand to maximise market and product opportunities and manage the product life cycle from E2E.

We are looking for a Product Consultant to join our European/Middle-East/Africa Commercial Marketing team as part of this exciting new organisation. Through the process of change we are challenging ourselves to work faster, smarter and more efficiently. The success of the candidate will directly affect the overall performance of the EMEA growth plan.

Role reports directly to EMEA Product Management Director.

Subject matter expert on Dell Commercial Clients for the EMEA market.   Works with business partners (SMB, Large Enterprise and Public) and Product Group to influence the product roadmap, support product launches and transitions, and report on product financial health (including challenges and opportunities).

Primary Responsibilities Include:

•         Evaluate financial performance against plan at appropriate intervals (e.g., weekly). Report on reasons why any area is not meeting plan and establish recommendations to fix it.

•         Determine customer needs by interfacing with customers and sales.

•         Influence product roadmaps, feature sets and product improvements to meet customer needs/issues.

•         Manage product launches to ensure sales force readiness, accurate forecast and product transitions.

•         Provide up to date sales tools and training to help drive the business (product roadmaps, positioning recommendations, etc.).

•         Build relationships with SMB, Public and LE partners to influence marketing plans, then drive and measure results.

•         Ensure accurate forecasting and pricing by working with demand/supply & pricing team members.

•         Attend relevant PG core team meetings and represent/provide input.

•         Act as a liaison with segments and an escalation point for sales for marketing, roadmap, merchandising or competitive analysis.

QUALIFICATIONS

•         A business degree or higher

•         MBA or higher a solid benefit

•         8+ years' experience in the IT/FMCG/Fortune 500 industry corporations

•         5+ years Marketing (or relevant) experience required.
