The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) has designated the 26th of April of every year to celebrate Intellectual Property Day in order to promote discussion pf the role of Intellectual Property in encouraging innovation and creativity.
In line with the goal of the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) and the commitment of the University to research,the Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer Office (IPTTO) plans to host another sensitization Workshop on the Intellectual Property to mark the World Intellectual Property Day in Obafemi Awolowo University, the theme is Creativity, Innovation, Intellectual Property Right and Commercialization; The Complete Research Cycle.
The participant shall include all research personnel (Post-graduate Students and Staff) of the university. Highlights of the programme are as follows;
