Title: Nigerian-Turkish Nile University - Vice Chancellor Attends 10th Inaugural Lecture

  The Vice Chancellor of NTNU Prof. Dr. Huseyin Sert attended the 10th inaugural lecture of the University of Abuja delivered by Prof. Oyinlola Olaniyi, Department of Economics.

The topic of the lecture was "Odyssey of Nigeria's Economic development: the Journey so far. The lecture which commenced at 3pm on 24th April 2013 in the University's main campus auditorium was well attended by academicians.

The lecture x-rayed Nigeria's economic development since independence till date, challenges and the way forward. The lecture was an eye opener into the economic state of Nigeria and he suggested that more lectures should be organized in diverse areas of the country in order to bring its lapses to fore.

Prof. Dr. Sert was accompanied by the Head of Department (HOD) Business Administration Mr. Fatih Yasar, HOD Economics department Dr. Jelilov Gylych and Dean of Post graduate School, Dr. Veyis Karakol. They used the medium to interact with the Vice Chancellor of the University Prof.  James Adelabu, Dean of Faculties, as well as other lecturers.
