There is no gainsaying the fact that the nation needs good governance of which the citizens can feel government's investments on infrastructural developments just as the government showing them the physical location of such projects. This is the level of cynicism that Nigerians have come to hold of their government. It is in line with this earlier reasoning that one can believe that the present administration is striving in the right direction of accountability by initiating and implementing the ongoing National Good Governance Tour (NGGT) where the masses are shown the projects the government has embarked on and their various levels of completion.

The Government therefore, is expected to show the people the projects such as roads, rails, education, maritime, aviation, electricity and infrastructure to mention but afew, where the tax payers money and other national huge revenues are expended as well as their level of transparency, prudence and completion period too.
Consequently, the facts and figures made available to the public by Government will enable individuals and public to take better decisions and do constructive criticisms, rather than arguing in ignorance and lapping up rumours. This accountability and openness potends good things to the survival of our nation and emancipation of our people from the present socio-economic and political doldrums.
The good side of governance opened up by the media inspection of projects through the national Good Governance Tour encourages one to want to urge government to continue to use transparent and open means of communication as to avail information about government activities to the public while the public should criticize government programmes based on facts and not rumours.
