Job Objectives: To provide IT Help Desk Support to NLNG Staff via telephone, email and occasionally face to face.
Responsibilities:
• Receive, manage and record IT help desk requests receiving either by telephone or email.
• Dealing with and resolving helpdesk requests e.g adding users, Active Directory updating, e-mail account creation, general IT trouble shooting
• Maintain appropriate log of equipment, users and operational activities.
• Basic installation, configuration and support of IT equipment (PC, laptops, printers etc)
• Work as a team member, providing support to colleagues as and when required.
Position and Qualification Requirement:
• 1st Line IT Helpdesk experience.
• Good IT support experience with knowledge of basics of ITIL (incident management)
Skills and Competences:
1. General technical skills including knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, and common printer issue.
2. Planning and organisational skills – ability to use initiative to manage and prioritise demanding workload.
3. Strong Communication and relationship building skills 4. Strong team player able to work effectively with diverse client groups
