Journalists and fans that trooped to the Murtala Mohammed International Airport in Lagos to see the team return on Tuesday received a shocker when the Air Maroc flight it was scheduled to be on arrived at about 6.30am without the team.

It has now been confirmed that the team will arrive in Nigeria on Wednesday morning after leaving Morocco by 11pm on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the team assistant coach, Nduka Ugbade wants the team praised and not blamed for finishing second in Morocco.

He said that Eaglets qualifying for the final was enough reason for it to be celebrated saying that all the teams that qualified for the tournament wanted to win the trophy.
