Title: Security Expert Endorses Complete Ban of Tinted Glass Cars

A security consultant, Louqman Chux has explained what the law says on the prohibition of tinted glass cars, he said for now no one is exempted from the use of tinted glass.(http://www.channelstv.com/home/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/vlcsnap-2013-05-02-09h51m58s1901-300x240.png) (http://www.channelstv.com/home/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/vlcsnap-2013-05-02-09h51m58s1901.png) While speaking on Channels Television's Breakfast Show, Sunrise Daily, Mr. Chux  quoted decree no 6 of 1999 as saying "except with the permission of the appropriate authority designated for the purpose of this decree and for such good course as it may be determine from time to time by the appropriate authority no person shall cause any glass fitted on a motor vehicle to be tinted or shaded, colored lightly or thickly, darkened or treated in any other way". According to him, the law proscribing the use of tinted glass cars provided that it is "the duty of the buyer or importer of a motor vehicle with tinted, shaded, colored, darkened or treated glasses to change all glass within a period of 14 days from the date of arrival in Nigeria or the date of purchase whichever is applicable in each circumstance".
