A new book (http://sealsbook.com/) from Greg E. Mathieson Sr. and David Gatley aims to help answer that question. Offering never-before-read details and previously classified information, US Navy SEALs aim to share the story of how the group came to be, as well as the daily life of the rarely-seen sailors.
The book was produced in cooperation with the White House, the Navy and the SEALS themselves and some chapters were even authored by sailors.
