Swansea forward Michu will miss the rest of the season after suffering a hamstring injury during Saturday's 0-0 draw against Manchester City.

Michu limped off in the second half at the Liberty Stadium and Swansea manager Michael Laudrup doesn't expect to have the Spaniard available for his team's final three matches of the campaign.

Laudrup isn't sure if Michu has suffered a hamstring tear, but even if the injury is less serious the 27-year-old won't be risked with Swansea's top-flight status long since secured.

"He has a hamstring problem. I am not sure if he has torn it but, even if it is less than that, this will be his last game of the season," Laudrup said.
