The West Bromwich Albion manager, Steve Clarke has denied freezing Peter Odemwingie out of the squad following the forward's failed bid to force a move away from the club in January.
.
Odemwingie has not started a game for WBA since the ill-fated affair but Clarke says the forward has not been ostracized at the club insisting that the 31-year-old still has a future at the Hawthorns.
.
"He is not frozen out. I don't do that to my players.
.
"My relationship with Peter and all the players is good. He has been waiting patiently for his opportunity.
.
"I think that opportunity will probably come between now and the end of the season and he is fired up," he said.
.
Odemwingie was an unused substitute for WBA in the club's 2-3 home loss to Wigan Athletic in the Barclays English Premier League on Saturday.
.
Odemwingie has scored 30 goals for West Brom since joining the Baggies in 2010 from Russian club, Lokomotiv Moscow.
