Governor Abiola Ajimobi told kids that his plans for the state are aimed at achieving a safe, secure and developed state for the good of all. On education, he said model schools are already being built across the state to set the basic minimum standard for both public and private schools to operate. He added that a programme tagged "catch them young" is already in the pipeline to broaden the knowledge base of school age kids in the state. On the ongoing road constructions within the state, the governor assured the entire state that all constructions would be completed in 18 months maximum while the fly over at Mokola becomes operational before the end of the month. He added that all owners of demolished structures including shanties would be compensated but those trading by roadsides illegally will get nothing from government. Meanwhile almost all major roads in Ibadan, Iseyin and Ogbomosho are undergoing some form of construction for expansion, rehabilitation and even fresh construction. This, the governor said is aimed at improving the quality of life and encourage trade and investment in Oyo state.
