Maserati will open its first Indian showroom in Mumbai this year, with plans to sell vehicles in seven major Indian cities by 2015. The Times of India reports that Maserati vehicles such as the Quattroporte, Gran Turismo coupe and GranCabrio convertible will start from around $275,000. India levies taxes in excess of 100 percent on imported cars.
