This was at the 43rd Annual Conference of the organization, held in Benin City, between 12th and 16th of March, 2013. The theme of the conference was 'Infrastructure Development and Economic Empowerment.'

Dr. Oni said his election to serve on the Board of ESVARBON would enable him improve on the ratings of the Estate Management Department of Covenant University, by keeping the University abreast of new criteria for accreditation.

According to him, serving on both the Education Committee and Professional Practice Committee of ESVARBON would impact Covenant University positively to prepare adequately for any accreditation exercises in the future. He also noted that "The Department of Estate Management had a total score of 92% during the National Universities Commission accreditation visitation in the year 2012".

In his own words: "With this, Estate Management Department, Covenant University becomes the highest ranked Department of Estate Management in Nigeria. This was due to my experience as a member of the ESVARBON team, which sets the requirements for accreditation," the HOD added.

Dr. Oni noted that, since his election into the board, Covenant University students have consistently done well in the professional examination of ESVARBON, thus drawing the attention of other students to the University. He stated furthermore, that the Department of Estate Management of the University is not just preparing the students to pass academic exams, but to also succeed in the real world of Estate Management after graduation.
