In its drive towards ensuring the security of lives and property, the Nigerian Army has called on members of the public to avail it of information that can be used to prevent or combat criminal activities in the country. The Commander, 35 Brigade of the Nigerian Army Corps of Artillery, Abeokuta in a statement today indicated that such information could be sent through e-mail and text massages. According to the statement signed by Lt. Col. A.T Adedoja, the e-mails addresses are nigerianarmytips@yahoo.com, nigerianarmytips@email.com and nigerianarmytips@hotmail.com while text messages could be sent through telephone numbers 08160030300,07053333123, 08185555888. The statement added that such information should include description of action spot, address of the incident location, Local Government and State, estimate number of actors with the type of weapon they are carrying, enjoining that cases of professional misconduct by soldiers should be sent through the same channels.
